Connected Schools

Launched by the Federal Government, the National Connected Schools Strategy (Estratégia Nacional de Escolas Conectadas – ENEC) marks a significant step in our ongoing efforts to connect public schools. Through the coordination of connectivity policies, this project aims to ensure quality internet access for all public primary schools across Brazil by 2026. The strategy is designed to establish connectivity infrastructure, provide fast and reliable internet, distribute computing devices in schools, and offer teacher training specifically designed for integrating technology in education. All of these advancements build on the foundations set by the Connected Education Innovation Program (Programa de Inovação Educação Conectada – PIEC) initiated in 2017.
