Education guaranteed in municipalities
Since 2023, the Educar pra Valer Program (EpV) has provided technical advice and best management practices to Brazilian municipalities dedicated to improving children's learning outcomes in public schools. Over the past year, this initiative has grown to encompass 48 municipalities. This expansion and the reinforcement of the collaboration system between states and municipalities have yielded learning outcomes up to five times better than those in other public school systems.
The program's learning objectives were aligned with those of PARC, aiming to bolster the collaborative framework between states and their cities. Significant strides were also made in analyzing educational outcomes by race, with 80% of race/color data being reported in the EpV Assessment System (SAEV). Furthermore, diagnostic assessments were conducted across 100% of the municipalities engaged in the program.
